2009年7月1號，水星酒館正式開幕，所以這個星期六開始水星將有長達一週的週年慶活動！！耶！

Although we opened our doors for business on June 26th last year, our official grand opening was on July 1st. So, we've decided to have a week-long anniversary celebration!!

Half Mile Radius is a half-American, half-Taiwanese band based in Tainan/Taipei, Taiwan. Formed in 2005 by singer/guitarist Dan Harrington and drummer Brian Giles, their sound got a decidedly melodic upgrade with the addition of guitarist B.C. Kuo in 2007. They recorded their first CD in early 2009 and have been touring Taiwan ever since. With the addition of new bass player Tony Liu in late 2009, their sound has matured into a stable mix of dark and bright, melodic and crunchy.
With influences including classic rock bands such as The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles, as well as modern artists like The White Stripes, The Smashing Pumpkins, John Frusciante, and Radiohead, Half Mile Radius has developed a unique sound characterized by melodic guitar lines and pulsing drum beats. They expect to record their first full-length CD in the summer of 2010, with plans to tour the USA in the following winter.

樂團成員目前分別住在台北和台南兩地。最初在2005年由主唱兼吉 他手Dan Harrington和鼓手Brian Giles組成，在2007由於吉他手大酷的加入，決定性的在旋律性上升級了樂團的創作。
